Reports to: Director of Programs
Duty Station: QADER’s Office – Beit Jala
Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension subject to performance and availability of funds

Background
QADER for Community Development is a Palestinian independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit, and rights-based organization focused on disability rights and inclusion in Palestine. Established in 2008, QADER leads a twin-track approach, dedicated to the empowerment and protection of children, women, and youth with disabilities from marginalization, discrimination, and all forms of disability and gender-based violence. QADER is committed to aligning societal, institutional, and policy contexts with the principles of “disability inclusion” and “leave no one behind” in Palestine. Through this alignment, QADER strives to foster its active engagement and meaningful participation across diverse facets of life and to ensure their full entitlements of rights by local laws and international human rights conventions and standards.
QADER seeks to recruit a qualified and motivated Project Coordinator to support the effective implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of assigned projects and interventions.
Job Summary
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the implementation of assigned projects in line with approved plans, budgets, timelines, quality standards, and donor requirements. The position will support day-to-day project follow-up, coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders, preparation of activity plans and reports, documentation of progress, and timely resolution of implementation challenges.
The Project Coordinator will work closely with QADER’s program, MEAL, finance, procurement, administration, communication, and technical teams to ensure coherent, timely, inclusive, and high-quality project implementation.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Project Planning, Coordination, and Implementation

Support the preparation, updating, and follow-up of detailed implementation plans, activity schedules, procurement plans, and project workplans.

Coordinate day-to-day project activities in line with approved plans, budgets, timelines, and donor requirements.

Follow up with relevant staff, consultants, trainers, service providers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure timely implementation.

Coordinate logistical, administrative, procurement, and financial arrangements related to project activities in cooperation with relevant QADER teams.

Identify implementation challenges and bottlenecks and propose practical solutions in coordination with the line manager.

Activity Implementation and Field Follow-up

Coordinate and support the implementation of project activities, including trainings, workshops, meetings, consultations, awareness sessions, field visits, campaigns, and community events.

Ensure that field activities are properly planned, inclusive, accessible, and implemented according to agreed standards.

Support communication with beneficiaries, community actors, OPDs, CBOs, government institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.

Conduct regular field follow-up visits and document progress, challenges, and lessons learned.

Ensure that all activities are implemented in line with QADER’s policies, safeguarding standards, and rights-based approach.

Monitoring, Documentation and Reporting

Support regular monitoring of project progress against workplans, indicators, targets, and agreed results.

Ensure proper documentation of project activities, including attendance sheets, activity reports, photos, consent forms, meeting minutes, and supporting documents.

Prepare activity reports, progress updates, internal briefs, and inputs for donor reports as required.

Coordinate with MEAL staff to collect, verify, and organize project data.

Support the documentation of success stories, case studies, lessons learned, and good practices.

Internal Coordination and Compliance

Maintain regular coordination with QADER’s program, finance, procurement, administration, MEAL, and communication teams.

Ensure timely submission of project-related requests, documentation, and supporting documents.

Support budget follow-up in coordination with the finance team and line manager.

Ensure compliance with QADER’s internal policies, donor requirements, safeguarding procedures, and accountability standards.

Maintain organized and up-to-date project files, both electronically and in hard copy where required.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

Support communication and coordination with project partners, donors, consultants, service providers, community actors, and relevant institutions.

Organize and document coordination meetings with partners and stakeholders.

Support the preparation of visibility, awareness, and communication materials in coordination with QADER’s communication staff.
Qualifications and Core Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, business administration, project management, or another relevant field.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in project coordination, project implementation, development or humanitarian programming.

Experience in disability inclusion, protection, education, advocacy, or community development is desirable.

Good understanding of rights-based programming, disability inclusion, gender equality, safeguarding, and accountability principles.

Experience in coordinating field activities, trainings, workshops, consultations, and stakeholder meetings.

Strong planning, organizational, coordination, and follow-up skills.

Good reporting, documentation, and communication skills.

Excellent Arabic and English language skills, written and spoken.

Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online collaboration tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
