QADER Holds Introductory Meeting for Community-based Organizations in Hebron
On Saturday, June 10, 2023, QADER for Community Development held an introductory meeting for several community-based organizations and disability-related associations from the areas of Dahrieh, Samoua, Shuyukh, Beit Ummar, and Beit Owa in the Hebron Governorate building.
The meeting focused on the process of applying for support for community initiatives aimed at enhancing the inclusion and participation of people with disabilities in economic, social, cultural, and political life. This is part of the project “Enhancing Local Capacities for Comprehensive Community Development in Hebron Governorate,” implemented by QADER and supported by the CBM Foundation.
Representatives from local partner organizations and disability teams, as well as members of the youth accountability teams in the project areas, participated in the meeting. The achievements reached so far were reviewed, including the preparation of awareness campaigns, advocacy efforts, social accountability initiatives, and support for local developmental planning in the project regions.
The meeting also highlighted the organizational capacity-building support for these institutions and associations, as well as the interventions QADER will implement in the coming period.
