Conclusion of a Specialized Entrepreneurship Training Program for Persons with Disabilities in Salfit Governorate

QADER for Community Development has concluded a specialized training program on business model development and market research, with the participation of 9 persons with disabilities from Salfit and the town of Kafr Al-Dik.

The training aimed to promote the economic empowerment of persons with disabilities and support their access to the labor market.

During the closing session, certificates were presented to the participants in the presence of the Mayor of Salfit, Mr. Diaa Bani Nimra, and QADER team. The event emphasized the importance of providing opportunities that strengthen the independence of persons with disabilities, enable them to manage their own businesses, and help them generate sustainable sources of income.

This training is part of a program targeting 28 persons with disabilities across the governorates of Bethlehem, Hebron, and Salfit. Each participant received individualized support for their own business project, including the development of the skills and knowledge required to manage it. The projects will also be provided with the necessary equipment and resources in accordance with their respective plans.

QADER continues its efforts to support the economic and professional empowerment of persons with disabilities through training, financing, and capacity-building programs. These efforts contribute to strengthening their participation in society and creating new opportunities for economic independence and an improved quality of life.

QADER is implementing this initiative as part of the project “Strengthening the Inclusion and Resilience of Local Communities in the West Bank,” in partnership with CBM Global and with funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The project is being implemented in 15 towns and cities across the governorates of Hebron, Bethlehem, and Salfit.
