Collaboration and Partnership Between QADER for Community Development and Bethlehem Municipality

A meeting took place yesterday at Bethlehem Municipality, bringing together Mayor Anton Salman and QADER for Community Development, represented by its General Director, Lana Bandak. The meeting was also attended by Municipal Council Member Shireen Mouj, QADER's Operations and Programs Manager George Mansour, and Advocacy and Media Officer Mohammed Al-Qaisi. The discussion focused on avenues of cooperation between the municipality and QADER.

Mayor Anton Salman welcomed QADER's delegation and highlighted key projects undertaken by the municipality, as well as the council's vision and efforts toward integrating persons with disabilities into the community. On her part, Mrs. Lana Bandak explained QADER's role in forming partnerships with local institutions and the mechanisms of joint efforts aimed at intensifying actions to improve the lives of persons with disabilities through various projects and collaborations between the public and civil sectors.

Both parties agreed on several practical steps to be implemented soon, which will pave the way for future collaboration.
